‘Picnic Bag’ is an easy pattern to practice or learn how to knit colorwork. It is knitted on the round in one piece, from top to bottom. Starts with a folded hem where you will later introduce a ribbon for the closure, then you knit the main chart and then a second hem to add some stability to the bag. The round bottom is worked with symmetrical decreases. This pattern includes video-tutorials, charts and a mini colorwork guide for beginners with useful tips.

15 sts x 20 r = 10 x 10 cm
8 rows x 6 columns from main chart = 2.5 x 2.5 cm
Please note that when modifying gauge you may also alter size or run short on yarn
Recommended needle size:
3,5 mm circular needle for main fabric
+ half size down for knitted hems
+ 40 cm cable
