‘Nel Sweater’ is an easy pattern for a baby or child basic raglan sweater. Made it for my baby but wanted to share it so you can knit it for your loved ones as well. It is knitted in the round in one piece, top-down. Completely beginner friendly, the pattern includes videos for the tubular bind off and the folded neck.

Level: beginner.
You need to know how to: cast on and cast off, knit in the round, knit and purl, simple increases and decreases.
Sizes:
size 1 (0 – 6 months)
size 2 (6 – 12 months)
size 3 (1 – 2 yo)
size 4 (2 – 3 yo)
size 5 (4- 6 yo)
size 6 (7 – 8 yo)
size 7 (9 – 10 yo)
Final bust measurements (blocked) 50 (56, 60, 70, 74, 80, 88) cm
Yarn:
Gilliatt from De Rerum Natura (100 g / 250 m), samples shown in colors: Darjeeling (marrón) y Bouleau (crudo)
1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) balls
Gauge:
16 stitches x 11 rows in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needle size:
5.5 mm for main fabric (or needed size to obtain gauge)
+ 4.5 mm for ribbing
+ cables 40, 60, 80 cm
+ 5.5 mm dpns for the sleeves (or 80 cm cable if you’re knitting with magic loop)
Notions:
scissors, stitch marker, tapestry needle
