If you’re new to circular needles, you’re sure to knit lots of cowls to practice. This pattern is the perfect design to get you started in the world of knitting. With it, you’ll practice casting on, binding off, knitting and purling. Look for a ball of chunky wool (either this one or this one will work) and 5 mm circular needles with a 50 cm cable, and let’s get started!!

Measurements: 27 cm wide + 23 cm tall
Gauge:
14 sts x 26 rounds in stockinette stitch, knitted in the round = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needle size:
5 mm circular needles with a 50 cm cable
+ 4 mm circular needles for the ribbing
Yarn:
1 ball of Le Lambswool by Biches et Bûches (50 gr – 170 m)
Notions:
stitch marker, scissors, tapestry needle
