Winter Bulbs Sweater (junior version) is an easy pattern to practice colorwork. It’s the children’s version of my tulip yoke sweater, so you can dress all matchy-matchy. It includes intructions for sizes from 1 to 14 years old. It’s knitted in the round with circular needles and you never work with more than 2 colors at the same time, making it very easy to follow. It is worked seamlessly in one piece and offers several finishing options to adapt it to your preferences.

Finished bust measurements, blocked
53 (56, 64, 73, 76, 84) cm
Positive ease
10 cm approx (please check the “how to choose the right size” section on page 4)
Gauge
17 sts x 20 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm
Recommended needle size
5.5 mm circular needles for main fabric
+ 5 mm circular needles for hem and cuffs
+ 40 cm cable for neck and sleeves
+ 50 – 80 cm cable for the body
Yarn:
Biches et Buches Le Coton & Alpaca (50 gr, 90 m) / Camarose Snefnug (50 gr, 110 m) / Drops Air (50 gr, 150 m) / Katia cotton merino (50gr, 105 m)
Quantities:
MC: Snefnug: 3 (4, 4, 4, 5, 6) balls / Le Coton & Alpaca 3 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6) balls
+ 1 ball of CC1 + 1 ball of CC2
