‘Matilda sweater (adult version)’ or just ‘Adult Matilda’ is a versatile design and the adult version of my previous ‘Matilda’ baby sweater. This is an easy pattern that includes 3 versions of the same garment for you to choose your very own style. You don’t need to choose your version at the very beginning, as it features an ‘European shoulder’ construction. Pattern includes 7 videos, a mini tutorial for the embroidered flowers so you can make them even if you have not embroidered a single stitch before, and indications for the buttonband that are knitted without buttonholes.

Description

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

To fit a real bust size of: 80-90 (90-95, 95-105, 105-110, 110-115, 115-125, 125-135) cm

Finished bust measurements, blocked: 100 (110, 115, 118, 121, 135, 146) cm

Gauge: 21 sts x 30 rows in stockinette st, blocked = 10 x 10 cm

Yarn: Robinson from De Rerum Natura (100 gr, 250 m)

shown in colors ‘nougat’ (beige sweater) + ‘sirene’ (mint cardigan) + ‘grand bleu’ (denim sweater)

Quantities: 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7) balls

Recommended needle size: 3,5 mm for main fabric + 3mm for ribbing. Cables 40, 80 and 100 cm.

Notions: scissors, stitch markers, tapestry needle, button snaps & decorative buttons for the cardigan version.
